Maybe the ground effects, durable tires and refuelling can make a big difference. I really trust Brawn, the man is a racing genius and if they are letting him have his way I doubt he will be off the mark. Theoretically this formula should make it better, it addresses the areas we are annoyed with. I don’t really think we need hybrids. We have FE all electric (that I just can’t get into, I tried, if people like it, watch it ) and WEC which makes sense for hybrids and the like. People say we need F1 to be the epitome of tech, but what if the point of this sport is no longer about that? Maybe it’s job is to have the best racing despite moving forward in time and things changing. I say we maintain loud noises and flat out racing, it’s entertainment, it’s a sport. 

* Well I have an issue with Nascar because they aren’t stock cars, Aussie V8s used to be the best. I hate ovals too .

Tried following f1 since it changed to ESPN here in the US.

Stupid, boring, and would rather watch nascar. Atleast there is passing, it’s not always the same team up front. And touching someone isn’t a penalty.

IMSA here in the US is the pinnacle in terms of real racing , F1 can as in the words of Jezza “Fuck off the lot of them”
